Specifications:
Nimbus – 100% Organic Merino consists of premium merino wool, mainly from Australian merino sheep. The animals are kept in accordance with the specifications for controlled biological animal husbandry (CBA).
The raw wool is washed and combed in Germany by Bremer Wollkaemmerei in accordance with the guidelines of the GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARDS (GOTS).
Bremer Wollkaemmerei was certified by the Institute for Market Ecology (IMO).
The organic merino wool is spun mechanically only. In strict compliance with German environmental protection regulations no chemical additives were used.

Dyeing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Oeko Tex Standard 100 – Product class 1
At Atelier Zitron all yarns are dyed in accordance with this exacting standard.
