Flower crowns with Diana Bastos
Teacher: Diana Bastos / Da Eira e Erva Moura Studio
Data: a anunciar
In-person workshop of decorative flower crowns.
About the teacher: Diana Bastos decided to pivot her career as a stylist into a more natural path and founded Da Eira and Erva Moura Studio (the latter in partnership with Maria Marques), aiming to create events, decorations and floral design products that are more sustainable, with materials produced in her own farm or grown in Portugal.
Contents: In this flower crown workshop you will be taught techniques that allow for the creation of a sustainable decorative crown, using fresh and dried plants, foraged and in season, from its base to the final finishes. The base of the crown is made from scratch using wicker or wisteria, and can later be re-used for other purposes.
Requirements: Suitable for the general public over 14 years old. No previous experience necessary. The workshop will be taught in Portuguese, but the tutor can give instructions and support in English if necessary.
Materials: The registration fee includes all tools and materials necessary for this workshop. At the end of it, participants will take home the flower crown they created - which can be reinvented at a later date.
Withdrawals/refunds: the registration fee will be refunded to students who for some reason cannot participate in the workshop and communicate their withdrawal up to ten days before the workshop date.
Location: Rua Maria Andrade, 50A (Lisbon)
The workshop will only take place if a minimum of four people sign up to participate. In the event that we don’t reach minimum attendance of four participants until five days before the date of the workshop, the workshop will be cancelled and any participants who had signed up will be contacted for a refund, rescheduling (if possible) or shop voucher to be arranged. In the event that the workshop is cancelled by the tutor due to unforeseen circumstances, we will apply the same procedure: refund of the fee, exchange for a shop voucher or, should another workshop date already be booked, a rescheduling of the workshop.
