Um kit para o xaile Halliste, desenhado para o nosso fio Mondim por Aleks Byrd. Este xaile é um dos modelos incluídos no livro 52 weeks of Shawls e é decorado através da técnica tradicional estónia conhecida como Roosimine.

Inclui

• 5 novelos de Rosa Pomar Mondim nas cores 300 (três novelos), 111 e 113 (um novelo de cada) ou outras cores à escolha (use o campo das notas no carrinho de compras para indicar a sua escolha)
• um saco de algodão com o motivo do fio Mondim

Agulhas (tamanhos sugeridos): Agulhas circulares US 3 / 3.25mm 16” / 40 cm, 24” / 60 cm and 40” / 100 cm (por favor tricote uma amostra e ajuste o tamanho para obter a densidade recomendada).

A kit for the Halliste shawl, designed by Aleks Byrd for our Mondim yarn. This is one of the patterns included in the book 52 weeks of Shawls.

Halliste is a triangular shawl knitted in the round from the tip to the wingspan. The shawl is steeked with the steek stitches unraveled to create a knotted fringe edging. Geometric motifs dot the shawl using the Estonian inlay technique called Roosimine in two colours. Aleks Byrd likes to play with her Estonian roots and looks for inspiration from her treasure trove of old Estonian books. The initial inspiration for this shawl came from the idea of translating the beautiful embroidery style of Halliste, Estonia.

Needles: US 3 / 3.25mm 16” / 40 cm, 24” / 60 cm and 40” / 100 cm circular needles. Change needles as number of sts increase and require more space (please swatch and adjust needle size if necessary).
