Rowan shawl kit

A kit for the Rowan shawl (sport weight version) designed by Tania Barley (@thewoolbarrow), made with our yarn Vovó. This kit includes the pattern in English.

The shawl can be knitted in one solid color, or in two colors for contrast.

This kit includes:

• a total of 7 skeins of Rosa Pomar Vovó (100% fine Portuguese wool, 143 m/156 yds, 50g) in the chosen colors;
• digital copy of the pattern in English (sent by email via Ravelry);
• one Vovó project bag.

Colors:

• A: 5 skeins of Vovó 80 (MC) + 2 skeins of Vovó 10* (CC)
• B: 7 skeins of Vovó 60 (one solid color)
• Choose color

Option "Choose color": please use the special instructions field in the shopping cart to indicate your choice of color(s) of Vovó.

*Note: The sample in photos 1 and 2 was knitted in Vovó 80 (MC) and Vovó 11 (CC). As Vovó 11 is currently out of stock, Retrosaria suggests Vovó 10 as a substitute. The sample in photo 3 was knitted in Woollentwine Fibrestudio Thrive.

Suggested needles (not included): 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles 100 – 120 cm (for working flat); 3 mm (US D/3) crochet hook for bobbles.

Gauge: 18 sts x 40 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in garter stitch worked flat, after washing and light blocking.

Gauge is not crucial for this pattern however, if it differs considerably, it might affect the final size and yardage of the shawl
