Scapular with Aitor Saraiba - 7 MAR

We present a very special embroidery workshop, where you will learn to stitch while creating a beautiful and now iconic textile scapular by Aitor Saraiba. The artist, a defender of intuitive, creative, and pattern-free embroidery, will guide you through this transformative experience. You will leave the workshop with your own handmade scapular, created using the exclusive materials included in Aitor Saraiba’s custom kit.

Requirements: 
No prior knowledge is necessary. This class is for ages 14 and up. The workshop is given in Spanish but the teacher can provide support/guidance in English.

Materials:
Participants should bring embroidery scissors. If you have any pendants, necklace pieces, buttons, pearls or beads that you would like to use, you can bring them. Aitor will bring a selection of pendants and beads for everyone to use - this is in case you would like to add a personal touch. All other materials are included in the workshop.

Withdrawals/refunds: the registration fee will be refunded to students who for some reason cannot participate in the workshop and communicate their withdrawal up to ten days before the workshop date.

Please note: The workshop will only take place if a minimum of three people sign up to participate. In the event that we don’t reach minimum attendance of three participants until five days before the date of the workshop, the workshop will be cancelled and any participants who had signed up will be contacted for a refund, rescheduling (if possible) or shop voucher to be arranged. In the event that the workshop is cancelled by the tutor due to unforeseen circumstances, we will apply the same procedure: refund of the fee, exchange for a shop voucher or, should another workshop date already be booked, a rescheduling of the workshop.
