Florada Sweater kit

A kit for Florada sweater, designed by Paula Pereira for our Mondim yarn. This pattern was published in her book Textured Knits, edited by Laine, and is NOT included in this kit.

Recommended ease 3–4” / 7–10 cm of positive ease.

The kit includes: 

• 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) (4, 5, 5, 5) skeins of Retrosaria Rosa Pomar Mondim (100% Portuguese wool, 421 yds / 385 m – 100 g), colorway 300.
• 1 (1, 1, 1, 1) (2, 2, 2, 2) skein(s) of Nefele (74% Baby Suri Alpaca and 26% Mulberry Silk), 328 yds / 300 m – 50 g), colorway Branco (White).*
• one Mondim project bag.

Needles (not included):

• US 3 / 3.25 mm and US 4 / 3.5 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needles (and a set of DPNs if not working with Magic Loop Method); US 4 /
  3.5 mm 24” / 60 cm circular needles; US 3 / 3.25 mm and US 4 / 3.5 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles. Or size to obtain gauge.

* Please note Nefele is a substitute yarn for the baby suri alpaca and mulberry silk yarn recommended in the original pattern, with the same characteristics but a different colour from the pattern and photos.
