Grandma's Pearls socks kit

A kit for Anna Johanna's Grandma's Pearls socks, designed for our yarn Mondim and published in her book Strands of Joy Volume II. The pattern is NOT included in this kit, and is available exclusively in Strands of Joy Volume II.

This kit includes:

• 1 (1) 1 skein of Rosa Pomar Mondim (100% fine Portuguese wool, 100g, 385m) in MC, in the chosen color;
• 1 (1) 1 skein of Rosa Pomar Mondim (100% fine Portuguese wool, 100g, 385m) in CC, in the chosen color;
• One Mondim project bag.

Colors:

• Mondim 117 and Mondim A576*
• Choose colors

Option "Choose colors": please use the special instructions field in the shopping cart to indicate your choice of colors of Mondim in MC and CC. 

*Note: The original sample in the photos was knitted in Mondim 117 (MC) and Mondim 109 (CC). As Mondim 109 is a discontinued shade, Retrosaria suggests Mondim A576 as the closest substitute.

Suggested needles (not included): US 1 | 2.25 mm and US 1½ | 2.5 mm 40’’ | 100 cm long circular needle for magic loop or DPNs. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.

Gauge: 16 sts x 16 rnds = 2x2’’ / 5x5 cm in colorwork, worked in the round on the bigger needle (after blocking).
