Objectives: Workshop for latch hook beginners, no previous knowledge of the technique is required. In this class you will work on your own canvas with a latch hook needle and other materials. You will learn the basic latch hook technique, which you can later apply to different tapestry projects.
The result will be a small latch hook tapestry piece worked by you during the class with guidance and support, based on or adapted from a design by the teacher. This workshop will be taught in Portuguese, but the teacher can also give instructions in English and Spanish.
Contents:
- Project set up;
- Project execution, trying out different materials and yarns to create different visual effects;
- Finishing touches.
Materials included: Latch hook needle, latch hook canvas, yarn and other materials.
Requirements: participants must be over 14 years old.
Withdrawls/refunds: the registration fee will be refunded to students who for some reason cannot participate in the workshop and communicate their withdrawal up to ten days before the workshop date.

Please note: The workshop will only take place if a minimum of four people sign up to participate. In the event that we don’t reach minimum attendance of four participants until five days before the date of the workshop, the workshop will be cancelled and any participants who had signed up will be contacted for a refund, rescheduling (if possible) or shop voucher to be arranged. In the event that the workshop is cancelled by the tutor due to unforeseen circumstances, we will apply the same procedure: refund of the fee, exchange for a shop voucher or, should another workshop date already be booked, a rescheduling of the workshop.
