Merchant & Mills The Foreman
Sewing pattern by Merchant & Mills. Inspired by traditional workwear of the early fifties, the practical and hardwearing Foreman is an unlined utilitarian jacket made to take charge. Features a boxy cut, 2 piece sleeves, a neat square collar, 2 hip pockets and one breast pocket. Can be optionally top-stitched in contrasting thread.
Skill level: intermediate. This is a multi-size paper pattern including sizes 36 – 46. Seam allowances are included in the pattern at 1.5cm, unless otherwise stated.
Merchant and Mills' suggested Fabrics: Dry oilskin, cotton canvas and twill, 8-13oz denim, mid-heavyweight linen, corduroy, woollen tweed.
You will need: 4 x 20mm buttons and matching thread, optional top stitch thread.
