Popcorn Cardi kit

A kit for knitting the Popcorn Cardi, designed by Midori Hirose, with our yarn Mondim. The pattern is NOT included in this kit, and can be purchased directly from the designer's Ravelry page.

The sizes are designed to fit a bust circumference of (82, 92, 102)(112, 122)(132, 142, 152) cm / 20.5 (22.75, 25.25, 27.5, 30)(32.25, 36.25, 40.25)(44, 48)(52, 56, 59.75)“

Designed to have approx. 15–29 cm / 5.75–11.25“ of positive ease.

This kit includes:

• (3, 3, 3) (3, 3) (3, 4, 4) skeins of Rosa Pomar Mondim (100% fine Portuguese wool, 100g, 385 m) in MC, in the chosen shade;
• (3, 3, 3) (4, 4) (5, 5, 6) skeins of Rosa Pomar Mondim (100% fine Portuguese wool, 100g, 385 m) in CC, in the chosen shade;
  
• one Mondim project bag.

Option "Choose color": please use the special instructions field in the shopping cart to indicate your choice of shades of Mondim in MC and CC.

*Note: The cardigan with "popcorn" in different shades of blue 1 was knitted in Mondim 105 as MC and various scrap yarns as CC. The black and red cardigans in the other photos were knitted in different fingering yarns similar to Mondim.

Suggested needles (not included): 4.5 mm and 4 mm circular needles, longer than 80 cm / 32 inches. Adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge.

Gauge: 16 stitches and 40 rows = 4 inches in with main needle in Popcorn pattern after wet blocking
20 sts x 33 rows = 10 cm /4“, with main needle and 2 strands of MC for k2p2 ribbing after wet blocking.
