Punch Needle with Rita Kroh - 8 MAR OR 5 APRIL

Contents: Make a piece of 3 to 4 colors with wool yarn applying the basic stitches of Punch Needle technique. Tips for using and combining needles, yarns and fabrics. Finishing and finalizing projects. Exemplification of various applications of embroidery.

Objectives: Mastering the basic points of Punch Needle.

Requirements: No prior knowledge is required. This workshop is for people over 14 years old. The workshop is given in Portuguese but the teacher can provide support/guidance in English.

Materials included: the yarn and fabric to be used during the class are included in the registration fee.

Materials to be brought by students: 15 cm frame and fine needle for punch needle (3.5mm). These materials can be purchased at Retrosaria on the day of the workshop.

Withdrawals/refunds: the registration fee will be refunded to students who for some reason cannot participate in the workshop and communicate their withdrawal up to ten days before the workshop date.

Location: Rua Maria Andrade, 50A (Lisbon)

The workshop will only take place if a minimum of three people sign up to participate. In the event that we don’t reach minimum attendance of three participants until five days before the date of the workshop, the workshop will be cancelled and any participants who had signed up will be contacted for a refund, rescheduling (if possible) or shop voucher to be arranged. In the event that the workshop is cancelled by the tutor due to unforeseen circumstances, we will apply the same procedure: refund of the fee, exchange for a shop voucher or, should another workshop date already be booked, a rescheduling of the workshop.
