Made for Retrosaria

// Our yarns have been travelling around the world and have fallen into the hands of some of the most talented and interesting designers of the knitting industry. We have proudly watched as several patterns designed specifically for our patterns have come out into the knitting world (and onto so many needles!).

 Aascent— Sari Nordlund

// Designed for our Mondim, these socks are part of the incredible book Socks 2018, which is dedicated exclusively to sock knitting. This pattern in particular features a lace stitch that is both interesting yet simple to knit, creating a soothing rhythm as it is worked. And we love how daring these hot pink socks are!

Carimbo — Kelly Ordemann

// The Carimbo mitts were published in Pom Pom Quarterly's most recent issue, which we also carry in the shop, and they're the perfect choice for late Winter chilly mornings. It asks for three colours of our João — the perfect option to try out some colourwork! The hardest part will be choosing which of João's colourways to use!

Trembling — Anna Maltz

// And last, but not least, Anna Maltz's Trembling is a pattern in a book we think will be an essential reference book for years to come: Marlisle. In this book, the author explores a technique of her own invention, which she has called marlisle, where two yarns of different colours are alternately worked together and separately. The end result is stunning and highly original, and it sets the foundation for a wholly innovative knitting technique. We carry the book in the shop — in it, you can find the Trembling sweater pattern, designed for our Mé-Mé 20, one of our favourite (and very first yarns!).
