Manufactura Badana vest

Wool vest in 100% Portuguese wool, entirely sourced and produced in Portugal. This ready-to-wear piece is based on Rosa Pomar's Burgos vest design.

This is a v-neck open vest with ribbed details. It is made from our Badana yarn, a rustic single-ply woolly yarn, produced from the wool of the Churra Badana - a beautiful red-faced, long wool sheep native to the northeastern region of Portugal, and the third most endangered of our native breeds. This wool produces a light fabric that is very warm and insulating.

The vest is available in One Size, equivalent to a size Medium. It has an oversized fit and is designed to be worn open over shirts, t-shirts and dresses. Please refer to the measurements in the size chart.

Fabric and care:
100% Native Portuguese wool (50% Churra Badana, 50% Serra da Estrela and Campaniça)
Hand wash in cold water if dirty. Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry.
